I’ve stayed active.

I’ve maintained my weight.

But I’ve been walking – not running.

FOR WEEKS.

But what do I want to be?

A Runner.

I want to RUN.

I already know how to walk – that is not an acomplishment.

I want to fly across the pavement like my body was built to do it.

I want to be strong. I want to endure. I want to experience a runner’s high. I want a bumper sticker that says 26.2.  Actually, I want 10 stickers from 10 different races that say 26.2.

I want to destroy my Nike’s.

I want to Run.

Today I remembered. Today, I ran.
