Just killin’ time…

I’ve got a cold. Thankfully, not the flu, I was immunized this year (despite my genetic level predisposition to suspicion of government conspiracy thriving in adult annual vaccines, but that’s a different story altogether). No, this is your run of the mill, cough cough, sneeze, sniffle cold.

And I’m completely miserable.

I bore very easily and I haven’t been inspired creatively in a long long time.

So I took my Christmas gift, a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab running Android Honeycomb (swoon) and have been reacquainting myself with the interwebs.

Here is what I have discovered:

If you want to connect with people over Twitter you can *not* (1) buy folllowers (2) get all your followers from a “we follow everyone back” list or (3) beg on your activity stream to people already following you to follow you. Reddit is a gateway to a parrallel universe that exists to distract us from the fact that they have sent drones to overtake our universe (This may sound familiar, I am convinced this was the inspiration for the Fox television show Fringe). We’ll never see them coming, we will be so deep in r/awww and r/funny they will swoop in and take over.

Empire Avenue is the most addictive popularity contest ever.

Foxy Bingo is just what it sounds like. Foxy. lol!

Pinterest is a place to go to be creative and inspired without actually having to *do* anything and is a backdoor to the parallel Reddit universe previously mentioned.

Tumblr is a blog for those who don’t really want to blog but want to feel like they are blogging.

Stumbleupon is Reddit for beginners. I know this because that is where I began.
